Chelsea are named as a suitor for the 22-year-old Dutchman, a player who fits the mould at Stamford Bridge in terms of young talent. Liverpool are another side linked, although there is no indication of firm interest. Anyone who does go after Summerville could expect to pay as much as £30m ($38.3m).

Selling Summerville, who scored 21 times across all competitions in 2023-24, could be necessary for Leeds as losing the Championship play-off final against Southampton is a financial blow. It is often thought of as the most valuable game in world football, estimated to be worth at least £140m over three years because of the enormous revenue streams it opens up.
