Sevilla are presently 16th in the standings, a far cry from their typical standards. Following the dismissals of Diego Alonso and Jose Luis Mendilibar, Sanchez Flores is now their third coach of the year. Over the summer, Ramos returned to his childhood team after letting his Paris Saint-Germain contract expire. However, even the legendary defender has failed to turn the tides at the club and cut a frustrated figure after the defeat.

While talking to DAZN in the post-match, the Spaniard stopped the interview and shouted to a fan: "Have a little respect, people are talking here! Have a little respect for the people and the badge. Shut up and go!"
